When To Do Circuit Training?

You can do circuit training on your own, as in oblique exercises. However, these routines are also often offered as a group class in fitness facilities. A circuit class is typically organized around a series of weight machines. The instructor leads the group through a warm up and cool down together. During the weight training part of the workout, participants move from station to station at timed intervals, anywhere from thirty seconds to one or two minutes to perform training sets. Some circuits may include both cardiovascular stations as well as weight training stations. Other circuits focus entirely on weight training.
Circuit classes can be a great way to be introduced to the weight room if you cannot afford a personal trainer and need the motivation and support of an instructor to get you through a workout. Your instructor can also monitor the workout stations to make sure you perform your exercises with good technique to avoid injury.
