TomTom on the IPhone 4

I have always been a fan of the TomTom navigation app on my iPhone, it’s far more advanced than any other app available in the app store so it’s almost an no-brainer on which one to use, only down side being it’s high cost at $39.99.

Since I got my new iPhone 4 from freebiejeebies, I’ve not been able to use the TomTom software, I upgraded not realising that the TomTom app was not compatible with the latest iPhones. Finally they’ve changed that. The new update to 1.5 promises some really unique features such as the ability to search using geo-tagged photos which makes landmarking on your iPhone a breeze. Most importantly for me is that the new update allows you to use it on your iPhone 4, finally becoming compatible with the new high definition retina display and giving more detail than ever before. The new version is also boasting over 1 million more miles of roads in the US than any other app.
