J1 Summer Hiring Sprees And International Relations

The traffic of folks coming in and out of the country for the sake of finding work, or being placed in temporary positions for training or further education, is a critical piece to ensuring that the home country remains competitive, and is also a part of being a good neighbor on the international stage of politics. A good example of this is the plethora of J1 summer hiring sprees that happen, especially amongst those that are just finishing up a college program in a highly sought after and coveted field. We’re seeing this with biotechnology right now. And about a decade ago, we saw this to be the case with information technology, software, and hardware. Under such exchanges, which are governed in the United States by the U.S. Department of State, visitors are granted a non-immigrant visa. What this means is that when the visa expires, the personw ill have to return to his or her mother country.
